Аннотация
Исследование посвящено проблеме социальных различий психического здоровья в европейских странах. Данные опросов Европейского социального исследования 2012 г. для 27 стран и сведения о состоянии экономики, социальных расходах государства, контроле коррупции в этих странах анализировались статистическими методами двухуровневого линейного моделирования. Психическое здоровье измерялось с помощью шкалы депрессии (CES-D, сокращенный вариант). Результаты показывают, что риски депрессии заметно выше в странах с относительно невысоким уровнем общественного развития (многие бывшие коммунистические государства и средиземноморские режимы), чем в наиболее развитых северных социальных демократиях. В любой части Европы обнаруживаются отчетливые социальные различия в вероятности развития депрессивных симптомов: она существенно выше в старших возрастах, чем у молодежи, а также у менее образованных людей по сравнению с теми, кто получил хорошее образование. Степень выраженности таких неравенств неодинакова, она понижается с ростом экономического благосостояния страны и расходов государства на социальные нужды. Социальный капитал — прежде всего сети взаимодействий с близкими людьми и поддержка с их стороны — важнейшая переменная, объясняющая отличия в психическом здоровье. Поддержка ближнего круга особенно важна в менее развитых странах, однако многие представители уязвимых слоев населения — пожилые и малообразованные люди — именно в этих странах ее лишены. Психическое здоровье населения России отличают повышенные риски депрессии и отчетливо выраженные социальные неравенства.
